ART DESCRIPTIONS
BEGINNER CULINARY ARTS
Grade Range: Completed 1 - 2 Graders
In beginner culinary arts, participants will make various culinary creations that will help them visualize the bible stories that they will be learning throughout the week. These creations will be geared towards our younger participants.
*This art is not recommended for kids who do not like getting their hands dirty or for kids who have severe or extensive food allergies.
ADVANCED CULINARY ARTS
Grade Range: Completed 3 - 4 Graders
In advanced culinary arts, participants will make various culinary creations that will help them visualize the bible stories that they will be learning throughout the week. These creations will be geared towards our older participants.
*This art is not recommended for kids who do not like getting their hands dirty or for kids who have severe or extensive food allergies.
DANCE
Grade Range: All
In dance, participants will listen to music and choreograph dances to various songs.
*This art is recommended for kids who enjoy music and dancing/gymnastics.

STORYTELLING
Grade Range: All
In storytelling, students will explore the stories of God's great promises and have fun retelling them in their own way. This class will present the daily bible story to the rest of the Fine Arts Camp each morning.
MUSIC
Age/Grade Range: All
In music, participants will learn to play various percussion instruments (drums, xylophones, maracas, etc.), handbells, and chimes. They will perform the pieces they learn at the closing ceremony.
*This art is recommended for kids with an interest in music/instruments and a willingness to listen and learn.
BEGINNER SKILLED CRAFT
Grade Range: Completed 1 - 2 Graders
In beginner skilled craft, participants will create art pieces using various mediums related to the bible stories of the week. Beginner skilled craft may include using certain tools/supplies including rubber mallets, nails, wood, screws, screwdrivers, clay, dirt, water, and paint. Participants will learn how to properly use said tools/supplies and will be under constant supervision while using them. This art is not recommended for kids who do not like to get their hands and/or clothes dirty.
Beginner skilled craft conflicts with dance!
ADVANCED SKILLED CRAFT
Grade Range: Completed 3 - 4 Graders
In advanced skilled craft, participants will create art pieces using various mediums related to the bible stories of the week. Advanced skilled craft may include using certain tools/supplies including rubber mallets, hammers, nails, wood, wood carving tools, screws, screwdrivers, drills, clay, dirt, water, and paint. Participants will learn how to properly use said tools/supplies and will be under constant supervision while using them.
*This art is not recommended for kids who do not like to get their hands and/or clothes dirty or for kids who do not like to be outside.
VISUAL ARTS
Grade Range: All
In visual arts, participants will paint and draw in different mediums and learn different techniques and projects related to the theme for each day.
*This art is recommended for kids who embrace creativity. This art is not recommended for kids who do not like to get their hands dirty.
